Went to Ohio for Sydney's 3rd birthday. Had a great time, but brought back two nasty colds. They are on the mend now, but were pretty close to a trip to the doctor. As soon as I get a chance I will post pictures. Of the weekend, not the nasty colds.
Yesterday I spent most of the day in the car. I drove to Ithaca to pick up a Freecycled food vacuum sealer thingy, and then to Saginaw to take Christian's MP3 player back and spend Alex and Christians birthday gift cards. Damn MP3 player never did work right. I am hesitant to buy another of the same brand, so it is back to investigating. Alex bought the Eragon game and Christian bought Medal of Honor something or other.
Marty is in Grand Rapids all day for a meeting. We had planned to tag along and see the city, but it will have to wait until the boys aren't sick.
Tomorrow Marty is off, so to "celebrate" Valentine's day (restaurant business, you know) we are going to make some homemade EarthBoxes. I want to garden, but can't have anything in the yard. I also have a bunch of empty totes I was going to Freecycle, but EarthBoxes seem like such a good use for them! Since I have the totes, I should be able to make them for just a few bucks each. (Here is a PDF file to tell you how to make them if you are interested.) I have to go today to buy the pipe I need.
The Fed Ex guy just dropped off Alex and Ethan's new science book/CD Rom, so I am going to spend some time playing with that, and then am going to continue vacuuming sealing everything in the house.
Have a great day!
